Your student is being loaned an SPPS instrument to use while they are school’s band or orchestra class. Along with the loan of this instrument comes a responsibility for the care and general upkeep of the instrument. Students need supplies such as reeds, oils, greases, and swabs to successfully play their instrument. Students involved in instrumental music that is not an Extended Day Learning (EDL) instrumental music program, may be asked to provide or purchase their own supplies for nominal fees ranging from $1.00- $5.00 per supply item. (EDL is subsidized and therefore supplies are provided.)
