I teach a wonderful group of high school students in St. Paul, Minnesota. This group of 11th and 12th graders is taking an Environmental Science class this year and they are highly motivated to learn more about science. In the past, I have been able to bring students to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center for an immersive, three day environmental science trip that allows students to engage in authentic experiential science lessons. I want this group to get out of the city and experience hands-on environmental science work outside in nature!
This year, the budget is tight and we are fundraising in order to give students this once in a lifetime opportunity. We need donations in order to afford the tuition and bus expenses.
We are a school of over 90% of the students qualifying for free and reduced lunch. Our students are mostly first generation and this would be the experience of a lifetime! Our field trip is scheduled for February 5th-7th, 2025. We appreciate any support you can give!!!!
